At Hounds ’n’ Harmony, your dog receives something very different from conventional boarding. I welcome dogs from just one household at a time, ensuring they receive my undivided attention throughout their stay.
There are no kennels and no unfamiliar groups of dogs. Your dog lives alongside us as part of the family, with full access to our spacious home, secure garden and beautiful countryside walks directly from the doorstep.
Every stay is carefully prepared through a gradual settling-in process, allowing your dog to develop familiarity, trust and confidence before their main booking. As a specialist canine behaviourist, I can also recognise and respond to subtle signs of stress, helping your dog feel safe, understood and genuinely at home.

Exclusive Home Boarding
£38 per dog, per 24-hour period
Dogs from only one household are welcomed at any one time, ensuring a private and genuinely personal boarding experience.
Multiple-dog bookings
A 14% discount applies to two dogs and a 16% discount applies to three or more dogs from the same household.
Bank holidays and New Year’s Eve
A 50% premium applies to single-dog bookings.
What to bring
Please provide your dog’s usual food, treats and anything familiar that will help them feel comfortable during their stay.
What is included
We provide beds, bedding, bowls, leads, toys, countryside walks, play, companionship and attentive care throughout your dog’s stay.
Because I am a specialist canine behaviourist, I can also share helpful observations about your dog’s behaviour and emotional wellbeing following their stay.
Exclusive Day Care & Twilight Care
Day Care — £28 per dog
Eight hours of exclusive, home-from-home day care. Your dog will enjoy our spacious home, secure garden and countryside walks, with additional hours available by prior arrangement.
Twilight Care — £28 per dog
Evening care from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, ideal when you are planning an evening out without the pressure of having to rush home to your dog.
Both services are subject to availability.
How the Boarding Process Works
A carefully planned introduction allows your dog to build familiarity, trust and confidence before their main stay.
01 | MEET & GREET
The meet & greet usually lasts around 20 minutes. This gives you the chance to see my home set-up, while also allowing your dog to explore, have a good sniff around, and start becoming familiar with their new environment.
02 | SETTLING-IN VISITS
Typically, three settling-in visits of around eight hours each, allow us to build trust and familiarity, gradually helping your dog feel relaxed, secure and part of our family.
03 | READY FOR THEIR STAY
By the time their main booking arrives, your dog already recognises our home as a familiar, safe and welcoming place. During their stay you will be sent regular photos and videos of their adventures.
